A large proportion of black people I've come across support Arsenal. Those I've met don't live in North London, and some no where near London at all. Is it purely because Arsene Wenger has bought and incorporated many black players into the team, or is it something to do with Arsenal's tradition, despite the area not being particularly noted as a black area. For instance Tottenham is home to more black people than Highbury, so why not support Spurs in larger numbers (despite the fact that they are not as good of course!).

Yes they are both in north London,. but White heart lane is more of a Jewish and asian area and not really known as a black area actually. There are in general more black players which in the league which its self will encourage more black people to go to football Not just at at the Emirate stadium. It happened at my home town there were no black faces in the crowd at all until our manager saw fit to buy two black player and suddenly we had a large black following and after we sold them all of the black faces disappeared.

It's just your personal experience of a limited sampling of the fan base. It's not reasonable to make such a conclusion without a fair and detailed study being undertaken.
