What was the name of the first sheep that went in space?

I didn't know they had sent a sheep into space.
But it is astounding just how many and what animals have done a trip into space.
Five nations have launched animals (where were the animals rights movements when this was going on?) into space thus far.
Monkeys, dogs, cat, mice, rats, squirrels, guinea pigs, tortoise, frogs etc.
I cannot find any info on a sheep however, are you sure one has been sent? Do you know which nation launched it?:

I always thought it was some dog and not a sheep that has been sent into space...but i did hear about forst cloned sheep.

Her name was Galaxia. She went with a bunch of male astronauts back when only men could be astronauts. She was a bona fide crew member...listed under the sub-heading "Relieving Sexual Frustration".

Galaxia served her countrymen well...but still, I have to say: "In space, when you baaaaa, no one can hear you!"

Afterthought: Galaxia never did wear a diaper while commuting from Houston to Florida in order to kidnap another sheep.
