How to know the server name for oracle installed on our computer?

I want to know this answer for connecting adodc control in vb to the oracle database and the connection dialog box is asking for the server name.

it is called the service name..or SID
run -> services.msc
check out Oracle database service name there...provide that name while making a connection..
or
logon to sqlplus as sysdba
select name from v$database;
