Oh come on, big freeze?
We got 15cm of snow, which had gone in 2 days.
Not even that in County Durham AND I would just like to say, that we were forecast NO SNOW up here, so no gritters went out - what happened? It snowed for ~ 5 hours solid.
Yeesh, I wouldn't trust the Met Office AT ALL.

i think the whole situation of the entire globe is all a bit dicey though. No natural (or man-made) crisis in 2007 would surprise me after the way things have been going.

I thought it was here. You mean there's more ? Radiators on all over the house, gas fires on already....short of lighting a fire in the middle of the room, hypothermia's gonna get me.
