The picture is alright, I think the color choice for the character is interesting and the brightness helps to create a focal point.
I think the regular colors used in the background took away from the image, it reminds me if a quadratic painting where you would use 4 colors say yellow, orange, blue, and violet using the warmer colors in the forground and the cooler ones in the background to help create depth.
I think if you had stuck to blues and violets int he background exclusivly it would help unify the image.
PS. I enjoy the gesture of the character, the movement is nice.

It shows promise, talent but you need to continue practice in anatomy IF this is what you want to do(figures.etc.). Your rendering of the person in color is unique and that is what makes an artist. These students of mine(troubled youth) never painted before. Take a look and see what practice, self-esteem and confidence does.

It's alright. I don't usually color with markers, but it's pretty cool. I think my main problem with the picture is in the execution of the foreshortening on the legs. His legs don't look foreshortened correctly, they just look too short. Also I think the extreme black shadows, especially on the face, are a bit too much.
Really I did like it though! :) Keep on drawing!

I like it.
I'm sure that you can improve your technical skills over time with practice. That isn't really the issue.
The question is, what were you trying to achieve with the piece? If you fulfilled your goal, it's a success. If not, you know what you need to work on.
Keep drawing.
God bless.

don't listen to opinions about your drawing and don't change your styles when you hear good or bad feedback.
your vision as an artist can't depend on the opinions of others - especially in your developmental stages.
you have to just let it happen, and of course work really really hard - that is the most important thing of all...
