It's my friends birthday and he needs some pewter myth and magic collectables which is called the hobbit collection. I believe this set retired in about 1991. He only needs a few to finish this set and I would love to buy him one.
They are made out of pewter and have a crystal on them. Does anyone know of a website like e-bay where I could try to buy him one. I have a few weeks left until his birthday.
Please try to help? 10 points will be given to the best answer.
Thankyou all for your time.

I have one of these - but it is probably one of the more common ones.

My husband bought it from one of those little shops that seems to buy up all the 'end of line' stuff - and it was very inexpensive. If you go to eBay, then you will probably find what you are looking for but be careful not to pay too much for it! Having said that, sometimes some things are priceless! I would try the sites that 'H' offered and if you can't find anything there, then try eBay - once you have been to your local 'left overs' warehouse, that is!

Another idea is to try car boot sales although they will not be in season for a month or two - jumble sales?

Mind you, bearing in mind that it is from the Hobbit collection, maybe 'ringing' a few friends might help!

If you had asked me 6 months ago I had a friend who was giving his away. I have some of the range myslef but they were gifts from my parents so I will not ever sell them.
The company that makes them is called The Tudor Mint and are based in Solihull in the West Midlands.
http://www.tudormint.info/ They have a collector's club section on the website. They also still make a few of these figurines in their current Lord Of The Rings range, although most of the range are newer pieces.

Ebay has two items finishing in 9 hours from now:

http://www.dragonscavern.co.uk/ This website may also be worth looking at. They stock a lot of out of production pieces.

I hope this helps.
