When my husband got his circumcision at birth, his was cut on the shaft almost halfway. As he grew it created a long horizontal scar. It can bend it half sometimes, and he can never have an orgasm with oral. He says some parts are not very sensitive, and the fluid is has a balled gel look to it. We have been trying for 2 years to get pregnant and I have issues, but am wondering if this could be one too. Now, at 30, he is getting periodic erectile dysfunction, which is becoming more frequent. He smokes, but other than that he is pretty healthy. He won't see a doctor. Can anyone help? He is starting to get depressed, even though I am not upset, just worried something is really wrong.

Even a "perfect" circumcision causes problems, what you have described sounds like a nightmare. I know all about the lack of sensitivity, what they leave you with is pretty much a dead stick. A guy is lucky if the thing works at all.

What can you do? First off get rid of the cigarettes; smoking will soften and shorten his erection and in time (not all that long) leave him impotent, it is also hurting his fertility, reducing his sperm count and sperm vigor.
The nicotine is also damaging sensitivity of his nerves, including the few nerves he has left in his penis.

He had also better get in the habit of washing his hands with soap and water BEFORE urinating, smokers are at an increased risk of cancer of the penis.(just look at a smokers fingers to see why)

There is a good reason for him to see a doctor about the ED problem, ED is an early indicator of serious health problems; it often is followed in three to five years by a health crisis.

I don't want to sound cruel but, if he won't see a doctor and quit smoking, I don't know if getting pregnant is a such a good idea.

A botched circumcision can cause pain on erection with scarring, skin bridges or too much skin removed. These things never seem to be counted as complications of circumcision because they take till adulthood before they manifest. "It can bend it half sometimes" sounds serious. If too much skin has been removed then further surgery will just make things worse. Stretching to get some foreskin back is a much better way to go. There are a lot of men who resent being circumcised and are restoring their foreskins as much as is possible this way.
Circumcision won't cause the "balled gel look" of his semen though. If he can't feel much or has too little skin that could effect his erections but it is more likely the smoking and fear of not performing.

he can somewhat fix his penis and you can help him.he needs more skin the only way to achieve this is foreskin restoration or surgical reconstruction.foreskin restoration can be done at home with a restoration device but will take years.remember when you do have children boys or girls do not circumcise them.

You can see a doctor first yourself to be sure that the problem does not lie with you. If it's not you, then persuade him to see the doctor next.
