I just had an MRI on my shoulder for a torn rotator cuff (negative) and then a nerve test for my right arm and then an MRI on my neck that showed a pinched nerve. Next I am to go to a spine surgeon.

Talk to your doctor as much as you want but there is no garauntee of success. I tore my rotators cuff and had surgery 6 years ago and still have pain and problems everyday. After the surgery my neck began causing me a lot of pain. Ultimately it is your decision to make and I wish you the best of luck

time heals all wounds, in this case its lots of time, it takes a long time to heal the rotator cuff. if you can take your time in doing anything to strenuous no heavy lifting, no sports that involve moving the shoulder, sling it for the first while to give it time to repair itself, i iced mine it seemed to help, good luck.
