They are effective if the electronic divice is installed before infestation.

If the rodents are already present, they are hard to get rid of.

If you already have a rodent problem I recommend you try baiting or trapping.

When handling bait's, wear gloves not only to protect your hands from the poison, but gloves help hide the human scent as they may become bait shy.

When trapping Good bait is a pumpkin seed or nutella as they are hard to get off the trap.

Also sticky boards placed correctly are very effective.

Rats usually go to where they are born when they are sick, which means if the dirty rat's are nesting at your place, they will theoretically come there to die.

I was a County licensed exterminator with a State license. I have "heard" of what your speaking of. With the threats of mosquito's and what diseases they're bringing in, contamination through the storms in the South. There are many things on the market.
I smile when I hear of some of them and shake my head in wonder at what people will spend instead of simply checking into products and they're test runs.

Many things work, to some extent, to some degree and under some conditions. The old reliable Malathion still works all the time with a good track record. Of course Deet works. These plants to ward off insects work to some degree, some electronic devises, IE: Cockroaches are attracted to electronic devises like recording devises and telephones, the magnetic resonance ? Maybe. So, so much for electronic devices.

I READ A SERIES OF REPORTS BY THE GOV. AND CONSUMER REPORT. ALL CAME TO SAME CONCLUSION THAT THEY WERE VERY INEFFECTIVE AT CONTROLING MOST COMMON HOUSEHOLD INSECTS. FOR WHAT SOME OF THEM COST YOU COULD HAVE HAD A LIC. PROFESSIONAL COME IN AND TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM.
I TOO AM AMAZED AT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE DUPED INTO THINKING THESE THINGS REALLY WORK. IF THEY WERE IN AN AREA WHERE MOSQUITOS WERE NOT A PROBLEM BEFORE, THEY USE ONE OF THESE, AND THEY THINK IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE REPELLENT. IF PEOPLE WERENT SUCH SUCKERS THEY WOULDNT HAVE FIVE HUNDRED DIFFERENT COMMERCIALS ON WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS THAT DONT WORK!!

I've heard they don't work. After a while the rodents get used to the sound and come back. You have to get rid of whatever they are eating. That is why the come. The only way to get rid of them is to get rid of their food supply.

I heard they work great at first but after a while the pests get used to sound and you have to look for a new device to rid yourself of them.

They work, kind of. I was an exterminator for over 6 years. I saw a bunch of those things in homes I serviced. I've even found roaches nesting in the outlet where the device was plugged in.

They are very effective, but they an cause problems with you indoor pets ears. So if you have any pets call your vet. My friends device killed her hampster. Sounds Crazy, but that's what the manufacture told her after she done the research.
