there is no doubt about laxman's talent says vengasarker, it's his fitness which keeps him away from the squad.
well, laxman against in the recent match against goa bowled 8 overs gave 28 runs and took a wicket, he scored a 60 too.. to both bat and bowl for a long time needs good fitness which i think he has proved !

I think he is getting a raw deal from the selectors but for the sake of the team he should be in the 15 men squad to be announced today. Cheppell has a problem with his fielding and running between the wickets but he ten times a better batsman than those who are being considered for his place. I think you can train a good batsman to be a good fielder but you can't make a good fielder a world class batsman. Laxman is one who can stand against any bowler in the world. We need his talents for the world cup.

I strongly feel that Laxman should be included in the World Cup squad to strengthen the middle order, which is draw back India is facing at this tinmer.
