You. We. I don't. I have a son through artificial insemination with my partner and we have an 11 year old daughter that was born before i came along, we have been told by people we know that we are better parents then some straight people they know, i have had my daughters friends come to me and tell me that they wish i were their mom. The problem is that straight people feel that it confuses children if they aren't brought up in a "traditional" family setting and they don't think ahead of that. Straight people don't realize we knew there are things that we have to teach our son, like how to deal with people who put him down because of his parents or the names people will call him when he's older because of us. We have to teach our daughter more in depth things because she's older. In my opinion it confuses children more when they have these "traditional" family's ,that completely fall apart for one reason or another, when mommy and daddy can't stay together. Now mommy got a new boyfriend and daddy's got a new girlfriend. In my opinion straights should work out the kinks in their own family be for they decide they have to "save" the children of homosexual relationships because both my children and the children of many other great Gay ,Lesbian and Trans-anything relationships are just fine!!!

No you will no longer be able to make somebody gay via suggestion. they're "stated" or greater like teased approximately being gay via fact they're already gay(maximum of them besides). suggestion is efficient interior the way that that's waiting to harm human beings or perhaps wreck ones acceptance yet no longer something is efficient to alter someones orientation. there have been situations the place gay "christians" became "at cutting-edge" via fact they felt as though they have been sinning, yet even they admit that their gay thoughts are not long previous, they only combat those gay thoughts away that's all. you may develop a new child and convince them that they are gay or at cutting-edge yet on the top of the day that new child is going to act on their organic orientation quicker or later. as an occasion little lesbians women raised in a "at cutting-edge" existence style putting, yet they are going to play with automobiles and play activities. And fairly some the time youthful toddlers are asexual, that's often in formative years while they start to enhance sexual thoughts in direction of the different intercourse. So if a gay boy is inspired to stay a at cutting-edge existence style then he will "act out" the at cutting-edge existence style externally yet no longer internally which will reason a distorted character.

They don't. The straights who cannot believe that gay people can raise children in a healthy and loving home will always believe the worst about gays no matter how many facts are put in front of them.

Children need some balance in their lives, I guess people just want the best for children. I'm not saying that gay people cannot raise children but would children feel normal around two parents of the same sex?

They shouldn't have to convince anyone of anything.
And to the morons claiming that same-sex couples can't raise children, that's bullsh*t. If a single parent of either gender can raise children, then why can't two parents of the same sex do the same? You tellin' me that one dad can raise a kid but two can't?
It's just more right-wing bigotry being shoved down our throats.

We don't have to convince anyone. We just can. But here lies the problem. It is the straight people that are up in arms about gay people raising children, so we had to step up to the plate and defend ourselves. Why do we always have to defend ourselves? I don't think one gay couple has raised a serial killer, rapist, child molester, etc. like you straight people seem to manage to raise. Congratulations!

I don't know, but from the look of things they're not doing a very good job at raising their children...so why should they be experts on the subject. I refer to the high crime rate regarding youth of our country. Go figure. Maybe they're the ones that need to learn how to raise children...pretty pathetic if you ask me!

Hi, I don't think that you have to convince wether gays are capable but more about what is best for the child. Do you seriously think that it is the best for the child having two gay parents to that of both sexes. People are more accepting of gays and there is nothing wrong in that but when your talking about the welfare and stigmas with society when it comes to a child I still think the world has still to come to terms with it.
