I'm curious as to whether or not there is a difference between people who live alone and with someone else.
So, do you sleep with your bedroom door closed, and do you live alone or with others?

I don't live alone but I like to leave my door open at night. However, I must have it closed when I study in my room.

I live w/ 2 family members. I close the door at night. But even if I was in the house alone I would close the door. I don't like waking up and looking out to a dark hallway.

Live alone now and the door stays open
When I've lived with others its stayed closed and locked.
When I was married and the marriage was good the door was opened, when it started to fail the door stayed closed and usually locked.

I have a roommate and I close my door at night. Even if I lived alone I would close the door at night. And I can't sleep with the closet door open either.

My hubby and I leave the door open. We have an 8 year old daughter and we leave the door open to listen for her. Also, we've got 2 cats and a dog that all insist on sleeping in our room so we need to keep the door open.

I don't live alone and the bedroom door is closed (but not locked), but before I go to bet I lock the outdoor many times, funny cause when you want to go out side and you forgot that it's locked more than once you get a little angry. :D

my husband and I always close the door at night, we leave nightlight on outside of the bedroom so that he can see if he gets up during the night but the reason the door is closed is to block light noise, cool drafts in the winter and keep ac in during the hot weather

I live with no other people, but I do keep my bedroom door closed because I live with a few cats. =)

Hubby & I leave ours open.....can't stand to have it closed at night, even when I was a child hated to have the bedroom door closed.
