I tried to install McAfee Security 2007, I keep getting(fail to install because of a required program) Help!?

Is there a type of program I need to install on my comp?

The only thing that comes to mind is maybe you have some system services turned off that are required by mcafee. Maybe something like COM+ event system or one of those. Run through your services window and check the descriptions on anything that's set to disabled.
