yes it was a gto.
Major Nelson traded a Valiant ragtop for a 1966 or 1967 GTO. Jeannie got a ticket in it on one episode. Rodger Healey drove a 1968 GTO convertible as well. In the rarely seen first season, still in black and white, then Captain Nelson drove a '65 convertible. In one episode, Jeannie took the car and backed into Roger Healey's '64 or '65 Comet convertible. This was still before Roger knew that Jeannie was a Genie. They used a 1966 or 1967 blue convertible GTO. You can see both '66 & '67 components on the car. It has '67 rocker mouldings. In one episode, Jeannie was unsuccessfully trying to drive a manual '66 blue convertible GTO. Jeannie puts the Major's car in a swimming pool.

Jeannie is fun to watch just for the Pontiacs. The Maj had 65 and 66 GTO converts, a 67 GP convertible, then I think GTO convertibles again. Dr. Bellows always had Bonneville 4 door hardtops, and Roger usually had Firebirds (including a really cool orange 69 ragtop).

No way, all cast members on the show drove Pontiacs. But I don't know whether it was a GTO or Firebird.

I agree with "Dawn Davenport". I'm quite sure it was a Chrysler product since they were one of the programs sponsors, how I don't remember if it was a Dodge or a De Soto.
