Clint Eastwood. He could be placed in a better more Complex role. He kinda fit the bill of a cowboy to. Scruffy, gruff, not overly compasionate but had some heart. Two Mules for Sister Sara is my Favorite Western. Than McClintock (John Wayne).

I appreciate them both, but as far as the cowboy roles go I'll take Clint. Eastwood's cowboys were edgier and more complex generally.
