They are all friendly and welcoming. Now that being said. I can tell you about Christmas visiting.. First at the Scottish grandparents.. it was, "Come on in and get warmed up.. Lets have a cup of tea and some buttered fruit cake while we listen to christmas music.. and then at the German grandparents.. "Come on in.. You will eat and you will enjoy! Children will sing songs at the piano!.."

It still makes me smile when I think of it.. but my Uncle Hank had Polish parents from the old country. The home was in a huge suburb of Detriot and the entire house was always full of people and as the men would have a few drinks, their card games would get louder and louder. Soon the women who were always in the kitchen with coffee and cooking would have to talk louder to be understood over the noise from the men. After a visit to the Polish inlaw grandparents, my home would seem like a quiet santuary.. but since I was used to the relative quiet life in the country.. it was a good quiet.

Whle visiting my native american in laws.. I was welcomed with open arms and the hugging and blessing of myself and my husband as we had to travel a long way to see them. They killed a sacrifcial guajolote (turkey) and there was always a big dinner to celebrate our visit. Somebody would sing a serenade and in return I would sing a song or two for them. I found it easy to sing lyrics in spanish for some reason. When we got ready to leave, it was the blessing and hugging again. Now how could that not be the "royal weldome" treatment. I adored visiting them.

You see its all a matter of what you enjoy and appreciate. I was lucky to have a diverse bunch of people in the family to visit. It made me aware of the differences and feel at home everywhere.

You cannot say..... Humans basically are obscene, beastly and impure since the day one regardless their nationalities.
Every nationalities have their own goodness and badness. I believe bad people and good people are everywhere not only in Canada, but also in America, middle east countries, Asian countries and so on. You really can't say that when you are a Canadian that you are a good person. There are so many awful and horrendous Canadians, Americans, Europeans, Mongolians or Asians as well.
You really can not use races, religions and nationalities as your ratio to define the friendliest and most welcoming ones - or you will end up with disappointments.
