Of course! Although I don't know who you are you seem a nice and brave person. I would talk with you even if its not brief, maybe its important, who knows when you can have a meaningful conversation 2-day, with so many people talking rubbish and all at the same time. I do not see any problems with telephones calls that computers don't have, and even worse ones...Feel free to do so.... you are welcome anytime

Morning Ma'am: if they don't accept IM's or e-mails it must be because they don't want to get more involved than answering or asking questions, for whatever reason they may have. A phone conversation is a level above e-communication so I think you'ld just make them uncomfortable. You can pick them as best answer and leave a comment to e-mail you, if they don't you'll be left with another of lifes little mysteries.

No, because I am not a phone person, sorry, that is all I do at my job is talk to others on the phone.

As a guy, it would be OK , but I wouldn't want my daughters talking to somebody unless they really got to know the person first.
