I heard that the new version of Google Earth has recently come out. To download it, do I have to uninstall my older version or can I just download it directly from the internet?

you can just download on top of it and the new version while installing will remove ur version , while doing that it would ask you if you would like to keep ur setting s on the old one like for ex if its google earth pro u are using u got these lines and points you could be marking and saved in ur program.

So while the new version is being installed and the old version being uninstalled it would asks you if you would like the same settings to apply. And just for the record the new google earth is really rocking , there are some features to draw stimulation models of your own anywhere across the globe.

Not setting out the surprises so go ahead and enjoy the software.

Hope i helped..

Personally I installed the latest version over the top of my old version and it replaced it with no hassles at all.

For peace of mind you may want to uninstall the old version and perform a clean install, though it is probably unnecessary.

Hi

As with any software , my advice is first UNINSTALL the other one first and then download and install the new one

Goes in smoothly over the old version. I did it just yesterday and have been on it for hours afterward. Seens to be fine. I'm on XP.

your decision. new features as against secure practices and stability. in case you do no longer strategies sorting out utility and the atypical crash then bypass beta in case you like stability and secure practices then use version 3. As for the adaptation in snap shots i'm afraid i don't understand as i'm making use of version 3 so can't evaluate.
