What time in the morning does it get bright & what time in the evening does it get dark in Tokyo, Mt Fuji & Osaka? I'm planning a trip to these places from 25 March to 2 April. What are the average daytime temperatures like for these places?

you won't be able to climb Fuji -san in March.. will still be covered in snow. Heck, I have pics from an August climb and there was snow on the summit...

Expect it to be chilly and rainy.. in the 40s and 50s most likely. Might get as high as 60 ish. The good news is, you may get lucky with the sakura blooms.

daylight hours will be 6-6 ish.

It rises and sets at the same time as ANY OTHER CITY at the same latitude (about 35 deg North). It's basic science.

Make it even easier. March 23 is the vernal equinox. The day lasts 12 hours (sunrise to sunset) EVERYWHERE. You will be one week after that, so the day will be a few minutes longer. Sunset in Tokyo will be about 6PM, and sunrise maybe 5:30AM. Osaka is about 20 minutes "later" because it's west of Tokyo.

with regards to climbing mout fuji, the sun rises about 0430 during the climbing season. Climbinbg is allowed only between July 1 and August 31. We started our climb about 1930 rested at every station and reached the top at about 0400. We did take a 2 hour break at station 8.

During your planned trip the sun rises about 0600 I think. Currently sunrise is about 0630, sunset is about 1730. The days become longer dunring the summer so your spring trip daytime might be about 0600-1800.The ave temps are about 8c to 15 c, so it is still on the cold and cool side. Rain tends to fall often during the spring.

If I have been you, i'd circulate to Mt.Fuji. this is severe high quality time to circulate there and there are various belongings you're able to do. you may as nicely climb the mountain! There are lakes around the mountain(5 of them) you may circulate to, or you may detect the wind cave close by. circulate to Fuji Q highland and journey curler coasters! Kyoto in summer time is truly heat(simply by fact Kyoto sits like at a backside of bowl), and you will no longer like it. it would desire to be nicer to circulate to Kyoto in Spring or Fall while that is cooler and beatiful with Cherry blossoms or Autumn coloration.

There is no sunlight in Japan so long as the Japanese don't come clean with their war history.
