You should be all right. The hormones from the Depo shot stay in your system for MONTHS before finally cycling out, and usually, it takes women about a year to conceive even after getting off the shot.
If you're still worried, though, it never hurts to use a back-up birth control method. The good ol' condom can still be put to good use in this high-tech day of abundant birth control options.

I assume you’re talking about the Depo-Provera contraceptive injection. The answer to your question depends on how long you were on the injection, and just what bleeding/period regularity you had before you started.
If you are now ‘unprotected’, then you could, of course, become pregnant before you see a loss at all. There is no reason to wait for the first ovulation/bleed to occur.
Injection is a reversible birth control method, working by preventing ovulation for up to 12 weeks after a single injection. Unfortunately, irregular bleeding is a very common side effect in some women, and may even change to become ‘no bleeding at all’. After their last injection, most women who manage to become pregnant, do so within a year, but for some pregnancy may take longer. This is usually because there is a residual suppression of ovulation – with periods remaining more irregular than those that existed before the injection was started.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating. You can find the solution here http://get-pregnant.keysolve.net
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after 3 months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 6 months of trying to get pregnant. (And that's with well-timed intercourse each and every month.)
If you haven't been trying for at least 3 months, or you haven't been timing sex for ovulation, then you should keep on trying.
If you have been trying for 3 to 6 months, and you're still not pregnant, something may be wrong. Having regular menstrual cycles doesn't mean you're in the clear. There are many possible reasons for infertility. The best solution is to follow some online method as "Pregnncy Miracle" that will probably solve your problems http://get-pregnant.keysolve.net

I was on the Depo for 3 years. As long as I wasn't menstruating at the time it was OK to get the injection!
P.S. I went off it a year ago to try for more children and my body is still not back to normal! I cannot yet conceive. The Dr said it will take a little longer.

If you can be pregnant or if you have infertility problems I reccomend to follow this method http://pregnancy.toptips.org
Many factors can cause a couple trouble in conceiving a baby, I'll list a few of the most common ones in women:
Anorexia or other dietary dysfunctions
Lacking amounts of FSH and LH are produced, so ovaries aren't as functional as they could be, and so not many eggs are produced
Stress, causing periods to become irregular
Medications such as cancer treatments, antidepressants, hormone therapy, pain killers, and antipsychotic drugs can all cause temporary infertility.
With the method that I posted above you will be able to get pregnant!

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

I took the shot and my era began without delay. After that, I actually had a era starting from heavy to mild for 8 months. it would want to offer up for an afternoon on the most and then commence top again up again. My well being care specialist fed me a tremendous variety of crap the reason why (ex. you're body is basically ridding itself of pollutants...). I not in any respect did determine out why it surpassed off thinking that you're not to any extent further even truly meant to have your era on the shot. I agree that more effective women human beings might want to be advised about those variety of news previously making a call.

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/oAJMg
Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.

So..
This is a great online resource on uterine fibroids you should read: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=553
There are various factors that contribute to the formation and subsequent growth of uterine fibroids. For instance, the genetic construction in some women makes them more susceptible to fibroids than others. Thankfully, genetic research shows that these constructions can be altered and thereby the condition can be overcome. Again, an unwholesome diet usually causes hormonal imbalances, which, in turn disturb the removal of toxic waste from the body. Lack of nutrition usually lowers the body's defenses and therefore makes one vulnerable to fibroids. When the immune system is weak, the body is unable to tackle problems of toxic accumulation and hormonal imbalance. Prolonged exposure to toxins, through our food, our water and our air, leads to a toxic build up in the body. This makes the body more vulnerable to fibroids. Finally, insulin resistance is a stage where the cells in one's body are less responsive to the insulin hormone thus resulting in abnormal blood sugar. These fluctuations in the blood sugar levels lead to uterine fibroids.
If you are a utirine fibroids sufferer it is important to know that there is a cure. A wise and healthy way of dealing with this condition is to approach it in a holistic manner. Holistic treatments examine your body as a whole and heals the condition using a multi-dimensional approach in a safe and natural way. Holistic treatments aim at building a strong immune system, and also enhance your mental and spiritual strength, to equip your body to cure itself of the disease. Thus, say, by combining a healthy diet with exercise and meditation, you can strengthen your mind and body, eliminate the existing fibroids and permanently prevent further fibroids from developing. Holistic treatment not only provides a complete relief from the condition but also permanently keeps further fibroids from developing.
If you want to know more about this system this is a very good online program: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=553
There are various factors that underlie the real cause of uterine fibroids. There are primary causes that contribute to the development of the fibroids in the uterus, and then there are secondary causes that contribute to the aggravation of these present fibroids. There might even be external factors like, emotional upheavals, which disrupt the normal balance of the body and make you vulnerable to such diseases.
For further information I strongly recommend this online program http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=553
