Women empowerment in the world is a necessary evil and

The cause(s) and remedies for women empowerment are given as under:

AA)Lack of Education and economic independence among women:

Due to lack of education and age old customs and practices, ladies depend upon men for any thing and everything,ie even for going to banks,or temples etc

If only ladies are educated and they take interest in the happenings in their neighbourhood, they would know whom to vote for and able to select women candidates or candidates with good background of service etc.

Then women will gain more power to get 50% reservation in all walks of life and that will empower women and make them command respect from the family as well as society.

With education ladies learn to think independently and they can improve their lot by representing their problems and needs at proper forums to find solutions.

BB) Said and done, there is some difference between men and women with respect to fidelity/virginity etc and women can not match men in certain areas due to their physical conditions made by the nature.

Because that ,society has magnified the differences of moles into mountains and ladies have become slaves to the family system and it is strongly embedded in their body and soul.

Even if complete freedom is granted to ladies now, they will not be able to come out of their so called ‘family safety net’. And that is the big problem obstructin women folk.

If Kiran Bedi, Thilagavathi , Lathika Charan, Sania Mirza are able to outshine their competitors ,what prevents other women in achieving in their relevant fields?

Lack of WILL and WILL POWER? On the part of the person concerned?

Women must stop looking for loopholes and look for opportunities to prove their worth like the other women who have achieved inspite of so many odds against them.

If only women want to achieve something on earth ,NOTHING ,NOT EVEN GOD can stop them.LET THEM RISE UP AS POET BHARATHI SAID AND REACH hell or heaven as they decide.

Nothing more to add.

In India the girl child is denied the right to get education. They are merely involved in the decision making process and are always forced to do household work. They are likely to be married at an early age and face domestic violence, poverty and don’t have a say in the family matters. A survey which was done in 2012 showed that the women who are educated have the ability to take proper decisions and their children are presumably well educated than the ones who lack even basic education.
ALL Ladies League is an organization which focuses on several key areas related to women empowerment. For further details link: http://www.aall.in

With power comes the responsibility to use it wisely and women have to learn that if they really care about equality a woman here remarked that women already control the world they dont have to become presidents thats true but does women empowerment mean removing evils associated with suppression of women or their crude exhibition at the cost of the opposite sex .

If you have the power as a woman than lead by example not by playng on the opposite sexes weakness and setting double standards .
then you can say to all guys "MAN I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN"
until then keep working on it.

There obviously isn't enough- just look around you. Men took over the world thousands of years ago, by rewriting the bible to convince all that women are evil. If women had been allowed to evolve the way that they were before christianity, the world would be a much different place today.

Well, I wouldn't vote for Hillery Clinton but I would vote for Condie Rice. Women who are born with the right stuff should be the presidents of all countries because I for one would not have attacked another country just because they were not of the same religion. Killing is disgraceful. I would rather teach the African, the Iraqi people how to use the land to grow their own food so they wouldn't starve. Start more schools.
I would implement conservation of animals and land. Trade goods for oil not blood. Get rid of nuclear arms everywhere.
I would give the police more power to deal with criminals. Not to beat them but other ways of restraining them. Any woman who would want to seek protection from an abusive spouse or boyfriend would get the protection she needed. Open more adoption centers. Implement a must find work for welfare recipients and limit how many children each recipient can have to two. Others would have to be up for adoption because she would not have the money to take care of the child.

Etc...somethings have to be this harsh to get people to not live off the government and support themselves.

Try listening to women instead of coming up with these pre-conceived notuins that people have (as above) and then forcing your ideas on reality instead of examing the situation first. Just when you go to deal with a female ask yourself, "Was I fair," and if the answer is no, make plans to make amends for it, then to not behave that way again. And let other people know as well. Most women only want to be treated as human beings. Just asking this much from many men seems to threaten them so much that we are instantly reviled as troublemakers. If they took the time to listen to us instead of making us out to be some sort of she-devils they would see that what benefits us, benefits the whole family.

Interesting how so many non-women have expert opinions on how to deal with this . . . if they could only walk a mile in our shoes . . .

That is a feminist slogan - I would avoid it|

Instead women should focus on their particular gifts|

And the gifts of women are *impressive* and *amazing|*

They can have the most incredible intuition, intelligence, and defense capability|

And a brainy beautiful woman need not be a nerd|

But we have to remember that the gifts of men and women are different, as men are the primary *leaders* of things|

The thing that a man is to do with his woman is to be the leader, but to do so with the utmost respect for her|

A good woman absolutely love a man who takes charge in the right way|

In fact, she absolutely respects such a man|

But such women despise men who are into a trendy "equality" who are never decisive, who are always consulting but never taking charge|

And any decent women hates a man who prides himself on being a 90's man who thinks that decision making and tasks should be *equally* men's and women's responsibility|

Such a man make a good woman vomit|

Such a woman wants to see her man exercise respect, goodness, strength, and leadership|

She does not want a wet noodle that cannot be differetiated from the grass of the fields or the animals in the forest|

There are many sites that you will get by searching through the engine. One of sites is:www.un.org/womenwatch

I think it is good for all of us that women are empowered with knowledge and awareness of the potential they have in transforming the world by contributing to material and spiritual enhancement. They have immense fortitude and resilience. It is just that some of these features are latent in some of them.

Woman are equal [but not the same as] to man. It is sad that there is a need for a movement for equal right for woman. I belief that the biggest reason for woman in equality is religion. All major religion put woman on a lower footing than man. The only way woman ever will get equal right to man is getting rid of the power that religion has in society.
