basically lost instilation cd and am to tight to buy a new cam.

Have you tried going to Device Manger and deleting from there and rebooting . When your computer restarts it will say found new hardware and install the drivers from the site then ...

What model is the camera .. my dad has a Mikomi !

The manufacturers website is based in Taiwan and is currently unavailable due to undersea cable disruptions (much of Taiwan is unreachable at the moment). Repairs are still being carried out on the cables and it should take some time.

As far as I can tell the drivers aren't available anywhere else. Time to track down that installation CD!

replace your question with the variety of the Acer and no matter if it is an inner internet cam or the make/variety of the exterior internet cam. keep in suggestions. There would no longer exist a driver for it on Win7.
