You will have to schedule another hearing with the judge or child protective services (or whatever situation you're in right now). Ultimately you will need a court order. Do you have any other details?

I don't know what condition made you qualified to have custody of your grandchildren over their
parents?if the same condition allowed you to have a temporary custody still exist or developed to something more than before to your advantages and is permanent...then,
they're all yours.

I don't honestly know how these things work but if you have had them on a temporary basis the chances are it will not be too long before it becomes a permanent arrangement. Circumstances always differ and no two cases will be the same but Good Luck.
