that is the major wonder of everybody. i mean, youtube is great with all the videos and all. but the problem is that you cannot rip them off to your computer. I don't think we (regular computer-literate) can do something about that.
try Limewire instead.

I would like to do that too. But Im not sure that its possible. Can you even download youtube videos ?

That's copywrite infringement. They're Flash movies, you could grab them from your browser cache I guess. It's not ummmm legal:)
However, if say it was your friend's movie and you worked on it and it was a backup .... go for it! You just need a flash converter.
