My borther is an expert on Elton John so he says that he firt did it for Princess Diana and then another thing about Marilyn Monroe so I think it's very appalling because Anna Nicole looked up to Marilyn

Yes, Elton would never sink that low! Who ever thinks Anna Nicole Smith compares to Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana, should take a good look at all three of them because they are sadly mistaken, there are no similarities.

No, Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind” is a tribute to Marilyn Monroe.

Ridiculous in the extreme...the only connection to that song that Anna Nicole and Marilyn had was a bottle of peroxide, a bottle of pills, naked in a hotel bed and a stretcher to the morgue. There was only one Marilyn. It shouldn't even have been used for Diana, Bless her. It is sad for a young baby girl to be left without a Mum but that's what happens when people live a superficial lifestyle.

Perhaps Ricky Gervais could sing one of his selections as David Brent from "The Office" -Training- Episode 4 Chorus: "Free love on the freelove freeway, the Love is free and the freeway's long, I got some Hot love on the hotlove highway, ain't Going home 'cause my baby's gone (she's gone)" Or the song written for Princess Diana

He did that tribute for Princess Diana as well... Is he going to remake this song for every pretty lady that passes? Seems pretty shallow, like he's just looking for a quick million. I personally think it is truly appauling! Yes, it's sad she died, BUT.... She was far from a role model. Everyone is now talking about her like she was some great person. She had the means of changing her life and the shady things she has done and she never did. Check out my blog on 360 (link on my profile), there is a 1 question survey there, I would love to see the response!

She was a person just like you and i and i think that people should stop making fun of her and let her rest in peace. I find it appalling that there are so many cold hearted people on here that make fun of the dead.

I agree with the above poster. Leave Anna alone. Let her rest in peace.

Yes I've heard it, and no it's not Elton John. Doesn't even sound anything like him.

When you make an a$$ out of yourself, you deserve to be ridiculed. But I hope her little kid never hears it.
