Best Buy will build you a custom PC and most any computer store will do it including Staples and other Nation Wide places like that other computer store whom I can't think of at the moment. They carry both software and some hardware. You can do it yourself if you are just a little handy. It's really not very difficult and I have done it 4 times in the past as long as your looking for a disk top unit. You can buy the parts at any computer store and build one yourself for about $300.00 or less.

If you want a great PC, buy a few parts each month until it's completed. Start with the parts that go up in price, and finish with the parts that go down in price.

Start with a case with super quiet fans, then finish off with the CPU which always gradually goes down in price.

It depends where you live .. I live in Manchester and there a few around . Or i have a freind who lives in Cambridge that does them :) I bought all my parts from Planet Micro and built my own last year . It would have actuall;y been cheaper to ask them to build me the exact same computer and i'd have 12 months warranty !

I got a custom one from www.pcspecialist.co.uk

If you get one take out the £5 free return to base for the year insurance as it saved me a small fortune as I had to send it back twice but they fixed it and were quite quick about it.

Do not buy a PC, go on line, order all the parts and put it together yourself! That way you get exactly what YOU want, at the price that YOU want, with the performance that YOU want, and the level of quality that you are willing to pay for!
