Well that depends on a lot of things. If you think about Clinton andeven as a conservative I haveto admit he did some intelligent things. 1) After the election but before taking office Clinton did probably the smartest thing he ever did. He flew to California and went to see the one person who could give him good advise on how to run the country, Ronald Reagan. 2) He didn't fire Alan Greenspan and gave Reaganomics a chance to continue to work and pretty much we still have enjoyed the benefits of it today. There are ups and downs in economic cycles but Clinton didn't pull a Jimmy Carter on us and invoke Liberal economic policies that would send us back into dbl digit Inflation, interest rates and unemployment. 3) He had the benefit of both houses of congress being controlled by the Republicans for six years of his terms so he was unable to do anything immensely stupid any way. 4) He did show a serious lack of Judgement in the Monica affair. 5) He had his own war in Kosovo but it was short lived much like the 1rst Gulf War. I would say that he ranks right around RIchard Nixon and Bush's 41 & 43. Not Great like Reagan, but not terrible like Carter.
Was he good for America? I don't think he was for the same reason I feel Nixon was a good president but not good for America. The one person we would like to think we can trust is the President. Carter despite all his other failings was honest. Even when he was doing something stupid which was most of the time, he never lied about it. Clinton, well, if his mouth was moving you knew that he was either lying or about too.
Not a clue, it far to early to even guess!

Bill Clinton was the most corrupt, inconsistent, hypocritical President ever. Wants credit for hunting Bin Laden, but passed up on at least 5 opportunities to get him. Want's credit for prosperity, but left us a recession of epic proportions when the dot com bubble burst. Had a record number of associates wind up in prison or .

I guess you could call him good . Not Great by any stretch of the imagination. He like most presidents made mistakes. His lack of leadership gave us 9/11, when he let go several attempts to capture Osama. That would fall under not good. Does anyone remember how his administration handled Waco ? That to was not good. How about Somalia, he ran and hid when our troops were attacked. And then there was Monica. That cannot be good , in any stretch of the imagination. I am sure Monica thought it was good. As far as the next president , I hope and I pray that his wife either backs out or is defeated. I also pray that whomever it is really does want to solve the illegal immigration issue and wants to protect the American people more than they want to fit into the rest of the world.

I think history will be kind to him because of the total incompetence of George Bush. However, he was corrupt in his personal life but got away with it because he was charismatic. However, I doubt if he, or any other President, would have put the West in the situation that it is now without a great deal more of thought than Bush has done. He was quite a wily bird politically.

no bill clinton sucked as president. he never accomplished anything of note but to manage to get impeachment charges against him. and for a morality issue at that he's the reason that mr bush was able to get elected the moral majority elected mr bush directly because of mr clintons actions with that girl. mr clinton was a whoremonger when he was governor of ark. and he continued to not be content to do his wife only in the white house.

He commited a felony while in office: perjury. Further the particular felony involved an attempt to subvert the operation of another branch of government--the judiciary. Altough he did some great things in terms of recasting welfare and budgeting, he will always be remembered by his felony.

I don't believe any Liberal can be a good President. The next President shouldn't be selected on the basis of sex or skin colour.

Yes I think he was the best America has ever had and I hope Hilary Clinton becomes the first Female American President. I hate Geroge Bush and what he has done to this world, he is in over his head and he knows it thats why he never makes sense and is not a confident person.

In someways he was good other ways like in our economy and his foreign policies were bad. He was probably the best president we have had for a while in public speaking. If Rudy Guliani decides to run I would be very superised if he doesnt get it.
