About $200, I think. Maybe $150, if I cut back on some of the snacks I eat. Then I eat out on campus too, so I don't know what that adds up to. I just changed my diet somewhat so the cost should be going down a bit, but I think it's still going to be fairly high. The staple cooked food of my diet is rotini pasta with chicken or beef and spaghetti sauce. It's pretty good. I need to start bringing my own lunch to save money, because eating out on campus for one day costs $5 minimum (OK, maybe $3 if you really cut back and get the special at BK, but still that's only one meal!). I live alone and spend about 100.00 per month. I eat alot of soups, salads, and sandwiches. I don't eat red meat. So I can buy a bag of frozen chicken breasts and it lasts me. I don't eat out. Plus I don't have loads of snack items. Those are usually higher priced and less volume. Just watch for sales and stock up when you can. I have a grocery outlet type store where I live. You can get great deals there.

For 5 people....I spend about 450.00 a month or so.....sometimes it is enough....but sometimes it is not enough...I try to bulk shop so that I am not out there every wk buying food...I HATE to grocery shop....but someone has to do it

i go once a week.... i have a 5 year old and a 1 year that likes to eat!
spend atleast 90 dollars a week.

ive been buying more organic products so ive been spending about 250.00 a month minimum for just myself

once, when I got my statements from my bank.. majority of my debit charges were food.. that was sad!
