No, it requires an absolutel minimum of 800Mhz processor, so it will not even let you install. Even if you could install, it would give you absolutely terrible performance, as it needs much more than the minimum to run effectively.

download the vista upgrade advisor from www.microsoft.com
if i were you stay with windows 98 on that pc since windows xp takes a lot of system memory let alone vista...

no it will not work. in fact it wont even install
