Yes, absolutely, it's a part of being a human being.

Language is a symbolic method of guiding others to the place we are at in 'thoughtspace', it's very imperfect.
If we could transfer and synchronise our thoughts there would be no need for language but most theorists think that language was prime in evolving our large brains, so maybe that's a no-brainer.

So, in short, we are all misunderstood, more or less, dependent on our lingual abilities and social skills. I don't know why folks get so angry about an essential part of life - coordinating thoughts.

I used to feel misunderstood all the time. It really bothered me...but then I changed my perspective on things. I'm glad that not everyone understands me all of the time, that just means that I am an original thinker. Once I started to accept myself for the way that I thought about things and stopped judging myself, I started to make connections with more like minded people. It's not that you are wrong or strange...just not surrounded by the right people yet.

I would say , some times. But most of the times it is not the question of misunderstanding . It is the other person (s) who understand what was meant to be understood but respond as if they donot not. That is more annoying .

If we are misunderstood , we can clear it again. And again .But , if understood and they insist that they have and reply what they have already decided to reply we cannot proceed further.

Mind you, this is not happening only in personal rlationship but in every conceivable situation. Initially I would doubt myself whether I have not been able to put across my point well But , not now.

The most annoying experience is with the doctors. Half way through they will say "yes. yes. I have ...." and start to write the prescription.

Not ever. Though I am not as important of a person, or one that is 'somebody', I always make sure I deliver my message right across clearly and understood well at all times. Nothing can be more frustrating than thinking someone misunderstood my points, views, or any pertinent messages.

I don't think there's one person walking this planet who doesn't feel misunderstood from time to time.

I don't think anyone is completely open with everyone so we cant expect to be understood by all but we all hope to find someone special that truly knows us . I have not yet, but then God knows and understands us. Understanding ourselves is a start .
