"$70.00 per day" You want to spend 70 bucks a day to rent a car in Las Vegas? First off, you want to rent mine for $60? LOL ...If you wanted to, with a little planning, you could get a room and a car for $70 a day..
Since I don't know how long you want to rent a car, lets just say you're renting by the week. If you spent more than $25 a day to rent a car in Las Vegas you're over spending, $15-$20 per day would be more like it...

Okay so maybe I'm full of baloney, I just checked with some of my LVA buddies and they are telling me that car rental rates in LV right now are all out of whack for some reason. $168 with all taxes was the lowest rate they could find, and some weeks were twice that...You might try this

Well, first decide, will you need a car. If your going to confine your self to the Strip area a car would be a waste of $$. If you are planning to travel the area okay for a car.;except if the travel includes Hoover Dam. Do not drive to just see the Dam. The highway is under repair and the traffic jams can be very long and just eat up your time. They offer helicopter flights to the Dam which would be the best way to go now.
Any of the major car rentals okay. I would rent though the hotel you are staying with. Do not rent at the airport unless absolutely necessary as cost more. All major casino's have airport shuttle.going and coming from there. Enjoy the town.

There are several car rental places at the airport in Las Vegas. When I need a car though, I always use Hertz. They have a website, and you can book your car before you get here, if you like. The airport has a shuttle to take arriving passengers to the different car rental places, of which Hertz is one. Go to hertz.com on your pc, and you can book it now.

I suggest you go to a car rental site on line. One place to start is go to yahoo travel. Enter Las Vegas, then hit a tab on top called cars. Get three bids on the Internet and get a print out for when you fly in. $70 per day is reasonable and you could even possible do better by half.

I prefer to do business with Hertz and Avis. If you have a hotel room on the strip, and do not plan to leave that area during your vacation, there is no real need for a rental car. There is plenty of public transport.

Yeah, i doubt you would need a car in Vegas. There's no where really to go off the strip, unless you want to go to Hoover Dam, or Red rock canyon, and then it would be cheaper to just take a tour.
