Tell me who will be the 4 starters behind Santana for the Twins?

I would guess Silva, Garza, Bonser, and Ortiz. There are also Ponson, Baker, Perkins, or maybe even Guerrier or even Durbin. Lmk what you think, throw more names in the mix if you can think of any!

I would love to see a rotation of Santana/Boof/Garza/Perkins/Baker but based on what I've read recently it sounds as though the team wants to start both Perkins and Garza off in AAA-Rochester at the beginning of the season.

It sounds an awful lot like the moves the team made last year letting Bautista, Sierra and Castro start the season at the big league level...more out of respect for the veterans than anything. And we all know what happened when they gave up on that idea and let the young guys have at it...probably one of the greatest turn-arounds in baseball history.

I'd expect the season to start with a rotation of Santana, Silva, Boof, Ortiz and probably Ponson...although by mid to late May, I think the Twins will have sorted things out a bit and we'll see a much more competitive rotation as Garza and Perkins find their way into the mix as well.

Wow, the guy above me really has no clue about baseball!
I would agree with Bonser, Silva, and Garza. I hope Baker or Perkins steps up and wins the 5 spot. It would be a lot cooler than watching some dried up old has been like Ortiz or Ponson play for them next year. Maybe Baker in the rotation, w/ Perkins being the 2nd lefty out of the pen for now. Drop Ponson.
