Are people really serious when they say that Stephen Colbert should run for president?

Sure, why not, he really couldn't do any worse than Bush....I don't think a chimp could do any worse than Bush.....put a smirking chimp in a business suit at a podium, and people would think Bush had won a 3rd term....

You're probably waaaay too young to remember but Pat Paulsen from the Smothers Brother's show ran many decades for President and surprisingly he did well.

Colbert's still a Canadian citizen I think, so if he is , he can't possibly run.

I think people are being ironic,when they say he can't do any worse than Bush. My cat couldn't do any worse than Bush and she 's not running either.

BTW : Did you know Colbert's last name is really pronounced Coal-Bert? He uses that French sounding pronunciation to piss off the Right-wingers!
