I'm just fed up- I enjoy answers (for those of you who say leave then) But you'd think they'd monitor the hatered a little better. I'm all for freedom of expression but its very painful to see all this hate! Is anyone else?

I'm fed up too. I almost have to report someone everytime I log on to answers. It makes the U.S. look bad to other countries and people from other countries post questions asking why Americans hate each other so much. I am glad Yahoo takes these questions off, but I do wish they would take them off before posted. I get sick of being bashed because I'm African-American.
I get sick of people bashing just about every religious/racial/ethnic/sex/sexual orientation/nationality/etc.
I believe that if Yahoo did nothing about this and let people post whatever they wanted, the hate and gross sexual questions/statements would just take over and logging on here would be useless to the average person and very offensive. There are children that use this site also. What is this teaching them?

Yahoo Answers should be checking questions *before* they are posted, not after someone has to report it for being offencive

It is bad, but you can always report them for abuse, and their question will be removed. I've seen it over and over again. A mild punishment for bullying hate, but still a punishment. If they keep doing it, they lose their login.
