Limewire or Bittorrent is the good for free music. Bearshare is pretty useful too.

limewire isnt working?? try mp3 rocket, just go to www.download.com and search for it there install it and download stuff...
i use limewire, it doesnt have any problems to me, try to also download limewire again like an updated version maybe it your present limewire has problems..

Bearshare has always worked best for me, but I hear Limewire isn't that bad either.

try uTorrent i had limewire but it never worked for me, you can get anything from utorrents from music to films, pictures and softwear programs it works like limewire with file sharing, if you need help setting it up please feel free to contact me madmac74@btinternet.com or madmac74@hotmail.co.uk
