Second ODI Final, 5 minutes ago Aussies were 4 FOR 51 !!! In a rain interupted, innings reduced match now chasing 221.
Are the Gods so unkind ? OR was our preparation inadequate given the woefull performances by the touring English ? Have we been too cocky ? Is this just the wake up call we need before the World Cup ? and really a blessing in disguise before hand. Am I selling the boys too short, can they still make it from here ? fingers crossed !

the form of teams when it comes to odi's is like a wave and to win tournaments you have to peak at the right time like England is at the moment,i don't mind Australia losing now and even if they lose the next series in n.z as long as we are about to peak in the world cup thats all that matters

I think its a case of the English team probably finally playing to their potential. I agree that it seems like Australia didnt really turn up, and I agree that they should not have changed the side the way they did. As the old saying goes - if it aint broke why fix it!! The rotation policy has come back to haunt us.
However I dont think it is panic stations yet. ODI cricket is like that - 2005 in Cardiff against Bangladesh comes to mind - and credit must be given to England for steppin up. If Australia continues to struggle in NZ, then I would worry!

Aussies have lost to England by 34 runs by D/L Method. This clearly proves that cricket is a game of uncertainties and no team, however strong they are, cannot take things for grranted. It is defenitely a wake up call for Australia

Australia thought they could turn up and win no matter who they were playing basically. They took out Clark and Tait and put in Watson who's hardly played and Hogg. Obviously they were preparing for the World Cup but a loss is a loss- to ENGLAND!!!

its not struggling...........its just they have lost 1 or 2 matches which was decider and you cant say they are struggling......everyday is not monday.....cricket is the game of uncertainty.....you just cant be sure till the last ball is bowled...its just that they didnt get things correct in the last few minutes of the match.....which is very rare with australia and i think you will also agree to this...australia is a good and strong team.....give them another match and i bet they will bounce back hardly.....

Aussies are probably out of the dope/steroids that all of their players are on. I heard that there is a shortage in supply of their dope and thats why they are losing.
They are the most undeserving team in the world. They are dopeys and unsportamanlike and big cry babies.

I'm not really sure, I'm watching it and now we're five out.
I think our batting needs work, we could have won but we crumbled.
