I don't think so. But since you brought it up, it WAS recently proven that testosterone kills brain cells, so I think you can draw your own conclusions from there...

Enough of this PC babble! Yes there are differences between the brain structures, they are made slightly different.

Does this affect their IQ? Sure, the test is biased, and does not test that individual based on the individual.

A Mexican with one year of English will do poorly on the test, because the test is biased, and does not test that individual based on the individual.

After all, intelligence is supposed to be :
Definition of intelligence comes from "Mainstream Science on Intelligence", which was signed by 52 intelligence researchers in 1994:

a very general mental capability that, among other things, involves the ability to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly and learn from experience. It is not merely book learning, a narrow academic skill, or test-taking smarts. Rather, it reflects a broader and deeper capability for comprehending our surroundings—"catching on", "making sense" of things, or "figuring out" what to do.

Our current IQ tests come nowhere close to this goal.

Once they do, I suppose most everyone will be in the gifted 130 range, and the IQ test will no longer bias the gender IQ grading. Unfortunately, gender affects the IQ score at this time.

BUT, what I see is a need for women to have a much lower IQ to deal with the lugheads they get, otherwise they'd go crazy. Sorry, I digress.

Interesting question. Do you think male brain is different from female brain? I believe it is the same.

I agree that guy IQ is more higher than female IQ. Since we can see a lot of professional is male. Why it will be happen? I don't think it is related to the gender factor but it is related to the behaviors, habits, personality and the ways of thinking.

Male act more confidence and dare to try a lot of thing. Female act less confidence and always need assistance from someone. Male and female has different kind of behaviors, habits, personality and the ways of thinking. It will affect level of IQ of someone. Female also can have high IQ if she can be more independence and have a good logical thinking. Male also can have low IQ if he did not practice a good logical thinking and always like the help from others.

As a conclusion, level of IQ is not influence by gender but behaviors, habits, personality and ways of thinking.

Thanks and have a nice days.

Absolutely not. Although there may be a certain disparity in the subjects in which men or women do better, in general both sexes will average the same in less subject-specific tests. For example, in 2001 men's average score was 533 while women's was 498 on the math part of the SAT, a difference which tends to appear year after year. However, the men scored 509 out of 800 on the SAT verbal portion while women scored 502 out of 800 in the verbal, and on more general tests like the IQ the differences are almost statistically insignificant, and can be attributed to environmental factors. In short, if under the same conditions and with the same goals in mind, men and women will probably achieve the same levels of intelligence and accomplishments.

And as a response to hrh_gracee's comments, I do not really know weather or not testosterone kills neurons, however I do know this:
Adult women who were exposed to unusually high levels of testosterone and other androgens in the womb due to a condition called congenital adrenal hyperplasia score significantly higher on tests of spatial ability. Many studies find positive correlations between testosterone levels in normal males and measures of spatial ability. However, the relationship is complex.

According to most test for Intelligent Quotient, it does not specify a difference for gender. So I would say no.
