I know of some people who's email address is either their full or abbreviated name. I have one like that too but it's for work. If your email address is your full or abbreviated name, why did you choose to do that? If it isn't why didn't you use your real name?

I have two email addresses. When I was a teenager living at home I used my favourite band and date of my birth as my email which I still use today for talking to friends and whatever I want. But since I've moved out of home and got the internet I have another email address which is my full name and I use that for applying for jobs by email and getting bills emailed and such. I thought it'd be more professional to use my full name email for those then my favourite band email address.

my email address is a form of my name..it's a nickname my hubby has called me since we started dating. I do not use my full name as an email address, because well, I don't want to. No other REAL reason.

The amount of people that apply for jobs using email addresses such as 'bigdaddy@....' or the like, it's rediculous!! I'm not suprised they're looking for a job, and they will probably be looking for a long long time! I use my name because I don't want to have two separate email accounts; one for professional and one for fun use.. and it's easier for people to remember too
