Before you spend all that money - I would find out if they are self pollinating. If you can provide the conditions necessary, anything can grow. Here's something to think abut though . . One plant . . $19.00 plus shipping, = how many tomatoes do you use and it is easier and less expensive to go to the store or be frustrated because you have a green plant with no tomatoes?

I am growing one now, but not with the pricey gadget from tv. Its easy using an empty 2 liter soda bottle. Just cut off the botton, push the stem of the tomato plant through the pour spout, add some potting soil, and hang it from a plant hanger-growing like mad in February in North Carolina (indoors, with grow light) super cool!

No, but I want one. I've heard of the tomato/potatoe plant. Which grows at both ends. It was through a catalog.

No I haven't and the reason I am answering is to get it in my answers, because I want to know if it really works myself also. Year around tomatoes sounds too good to be true.
