I do not totally agree with it as there are many other factors that play a major role in Singapore's success. To name a few, like location, unrest in near by countries, relationship with westen countries, politics and taxation rules..etc

This goes without saying! If society is split within, how can there be the requisite peace to achieve economic goals and wealth?
