Hello,

(ANS) In windows Vista if you have device drivers for your modem that worked with a previous version of windows such as windows XP or even windows 2000 they should still work OK in Vista.

**What you have to understand here is that when a new version of windows like Vista is released many manufacturers & software companies have to play catch up and re-write old drivers (software) or create new vista specific drivers. This has always happened with every new version of windows since it was invented, normally you can expect a time lag of anything between a few weeks or say 6mths for new drivers to appear.

Most software that ran on windows XP Or win2K should work fine with Vista.

You should be able to just plug the router in, most Windows OS's work on a "Plug-N-Play" system, these OS's include Windows XP and Windows Vista.

If this does not work, contact the manufacturer of your router, and also your ISP.
