Actually, everyone above me is wrong.
The winningest program over the past 75 years (1932-2006) is (in terms of percentage)...
Ohio State, with a winning percentage of 0.743.
Oklahoma is second, Michigan third, followed by Penn State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, and USC.
In terms of wins, Oklahoma has the most, with 596. Alabama is next with 583, Tennessee 579, Texas 574, Ohio State 568, Nebraska 567, Notre Dame 563, Michigan 561, Penn State 558, USC 556.

Okay yes Michigan has the most wins, However that goes in the entire 120 something years of their existence, but in the last 75 years or so that could be matched after all with Bama and Oklahoma and Notre Dame. These three teams has been around for a while but they all have more titles to carry around most recently within the past 75 years. Although I cheer for Bama I am going to say Oklahoma because of that 40 something win streak that they had a few decades ago along with that they rarely had very few losing seasons.

The Most Wining est Program with out percentage is Oklahoma with the most wins!
FYI to you as the truth as i see it: Oklahoma has 6 official titles, Bama has 10 Official, USC and ND has 9 Official and that is the way the NCAA sees it as they hold the records for the past champions. Click on the link below and it will show you the past champions.

The NCAA Football Statistics Book says that Michigan Wolverines are the winningest team in the history of Division 1-A football. That's 849 wins in 126 season with 286 losses, 36 ties. They also have the highest winning percentage in Division 1 with .7442 (about 75%).

You know that only b is one smart cookie..... While the rest of you are a bunch of idiots.... Winningest would have to be who has won the most games so my hats are off to the Sooners from Oklahoma.... and the Sooners have seven real titles.... define real title.... Only titles since 1950 are real and only if voted champion by either the AP, UPI. or you are awarded the BCS trophy... When LSU and USC split the vote LSU got the title and USC got the crumbs from the Championship cake..... 'Bama don't even get me started with their 12 titles four of which were awarded by the Tuscaloosa Times......
