well i used to try a few search engines, however google most of the time came back with the same results and more, it is certainly on of the bigger search engines, however you can get more homing in ones, like a shop only search engine, a engineering search engine, and so on.

Google, its algorithms are better. It is mostly based on what ppl click on when they search for things,a nd other links in other wbepages that are clicked on alot.
Yahoo is a pain to submit a site to the search engine, I don't like that.

Google, as it searches hundreds of other search engines too, the only drawback is it can be too effective, giving you too many search results, (after like the 3rd page, nothing will be relevant to your search).

It's a matter of personal preference, really.

I use Google because it's a simple page that loads in a second and a half with no useless "news" or "weather" that don't even relate to where I live!

Google. Their searches are extremely fine tuned thanks to exclusive hardware amd software. (Did you know its creators offered the prototype to Yahoo and AltaVista, both of whom turned them down?) The secret is also to frame your keywords correctly.
