It's at http://www.politicalcompass.org . It has some interesting questions, but I'm trying to figure out whether it's biased, as I, and all the people I've known who've taken it, end up somewhere near Ralph Nader or Gandhi (Maybe It's just the company I keep). Post your results.(I'm economic -6.88, Social -4.62)

MY political compass
Economic Left/Right: -5.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.31

It has changed some since I took it the first time. But I still end up in about the same place.

I know people who ended up in other quads. So I think it is the company you keep. Stick with them they have good head on their shoulders.

It's not biased. Five years ago, when I was in middle school, I knew a classmate that was in the same area as George Bush. I don't have the time to take it, but I rember I was between -1 and 0 for both economic and social.

Take a look at the FAQs if you have any issues with it. It is quite comprehensive.

That's an excellent quiz.

I come out economically neutral (0) and socially libertarian (-5), which is a pretty good assessment.

There's a similar, much shorter quiz here:

I suspect many people who would generally identify themself with "conservative" political values (particularly limited government) are actually libertarians who have no present political voice in the United States (well, other than the Libertarian Party!).

Economic Left/Right: 3.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.72

The questions are a bit misleading so the results are not accurate but I would say they are in the ballpark.

Awesome site...that was so much fun.

My score
Economic -8.38
Social -4.87

I'm very happy with it...the people I'm next too are Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and The Dalai Lama. I would say that the results are very accurate and, honestly, it makes me feel good to know that my beliefs emulate these good men :o). I found it interesting that Bush is polar opposite of me...no wonder I get so angry about him. Also, Bush and Hitler aren't very far away from each other...scary.

Thanks for sharing!

It's definitely biased as written. Sounds like something some hippie pothead came up with.

Some of these questions are nuts. I would not trust it.
