Hi, Unless Turkey give Cyprus back to the Cypriots they should never be allowed to join the EU. They do keep having talks but they keep breaking down. They invaded Cyprus 1974 and Nicosia is the only divided Capital City of the world. Lots of Cypriots had their land taken and worst of all family killed or still missing. It's a very political matter.

Hell no that would be the most ignorant thing in the world! Not because we don't like Muslims, or Islamics? We don't condone cutting peoples hands off for stealing, killing women, and performing surgical procedures on the women to stifle their sex life like a robot! and we don't want anymore decapitating of people. I think France for one has had enough of that when they had their revolution eh? so no way does anyone in Europe want to step back into the third world mentality again they just got our of that? Let Turkey grow and then become civilized on their own! Please oh dear Jesus let it be so someday so they don't keep raping the prisoners (the guards raping the men) eh?
All of this is fact! What a world right? Phew!

Never. The greater portion of Turkey is not even in Europe, it in Asia Minor.
While international corporations would benefit from inclusion of Turkey, it is European tax payers who would pay the cost.
There are all ready too many poor relations in the EU, the addition of 70m mainly poor Muslims is completely unacceptable.

Hopefully never. Turkey is not part of Europe.
Turkey entering the EU would be as legit as allowing Cuba in.
The only reason to allow Turkey into the EU is to make human trafficing easier.

That's the thing - it is not in the land mass usually called Europe - you may as well ask when will Uganda be a part of Europe ?
The new accession states aren't in Europe as far as I am concerned - they never were - they were part of the Eastern Bloc. They are more Russian than European.
