ok assuming this isn't a joke.... why would you want to name a poor defenseless human being a name that would cause them riddicule not just as a kid but for their entire life? How would anyone take them seriously professionally? and dating? who is going to date someone named zebra? what about a sex life? i don't know anyone that would say yeah i had this really great date with zebra, we hit it off things got carried away... blah blah... thats just wierd... why dont you suggest the baby be named after you. you have a nice name and jocelyn for a female would be close i think that if you suggest those names to your friend it would end up causing some bad feelings between you guys. think about what your friend has offered you, and how you are treating this gift, this unborn child, and your friend.

Zebra.
Pumpkin is a term of endearment. It's far too girly. But Zebra is a great boy's name.
Do you get to pick the middle name, too? (If not, maybe hint at putting your friend back in the life-threatening situation and NOT getting him out of it this time -- DON'T let him weasel on any aspect of the name!)
For a middle name, consider a brand name. Very classy. How about Hummer?

Hyphenate or combine. Either Zebra-Pumpkin, or Zumpkin, or Pebra, or Pumpra, or Zebkin. I think I like Zumpkin best.

i would do it but make sure that u talk to ur friend about the name and make the decision all together but pease i hope ur not serious about the pumpkin or zebra thing
