equation ==> 2Na +Cl2 => 2NaCl

46 grams of Na combines with 71 grams of Cl to give 117 grams of NaCl

so for 50 grams Cl, (46/71)x50 = 32.39 grams of Na will be required.

and the grams of NaCl produced = 50 + 32.39 = 82.39 grams
