Gotta agree with 'Apocalypse Now'. I've never seen a more perfect build-up of suspense. I love how Kurtz became this character before he even came on screen; this crazy, scary person. I hate when a movie builds suspense and then there's nothing on the other side. But the end of his movie...woo!
