emf is electro magnetic force right ?

well the question is ill posed it uses elcrtojargon in inappropriate place but i get whaty you are trying to say
so the answer is yes of course this is very basic and can be read in a=every textbook on magnetism.

make short circuit a coil put it around the earth.
make sure it doesnt have the same speed as the earths rotationspeed. this will create an emf on the coil.

goodluck with your engineering career

Look for other methods of generating electricity. For example the difference between temperature levels in the ocean.
Also consider what would happen regardless of the temperature difference - what would happen to a connection between a pole and the equator? Would the connection be going different speeds through anything that might produce electricity?
Very interesting question. The real possibility of getting power from this is, of course, very slim.

yes, A wire would cut through the magnetic field of the earth and generate an emf. HARD TO DO. I believe they tried it in space one time but the wire broke
