If you're still awake.....it depends on a lot of variables. 1) Weight, 2) if you're sick or your body is exhausted and 3) your general constitution. If cough syrup makes you tired, then this will.
Generally though it's not that strong a dose.

It makes me drowsy. Sometimes it gives me a "better" attitude. It takes the edge off. You'll be alright.
